I had long wanted to shoot a picture of a glass eyeball in a vagina and I bought an eyeball in readiness. All I needed was a suitable model. I had them quite awhile before one agreed to let me shoot her. After taking it people on the internet and elsewhere started to mention the name of George Bataille to me, who I discovered wrote a novel in which a character put a bull's eye in a vagina. I later did a very short film of a moving eye in a vagina and called Bataille's eye.
